Bio Notes: Czselaw-Jerzy Karpinski studied at Glasgow School of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1952. In the mid-1950s he had a post in Lagos in the Public Works Department. In 1960 he was in Los Angeles but returned to Scotland shortly thereafter to work for James Taylor in Glasgow. By 1965 he had emigrated to New Zealand where he had a post with Messrs Stephenson & Turner in Wellington. He then moved to Durban, South Africa to a position with Messrs Zakrzewski & Partners where he was in 1970. In is no longer listed in RIBA directories in the early 1980s.
