Bio Notes: John Walter Edwards was born on 8 July 1921, the son of Walter Ernest Edwards, company director, (Country Estate) and his wife Marjorie Frances Cox. He was a student member of the RIBA from 1948. Around that time he was living in Sussex. He was elected ARIBA in 1949. After graduation he took a post in Kenya. He worked for Fife County Architect's department in the 1960s. He remained with the department after regionalisation. He was still working there in 1984 but is no longer listed in 1994.

Edwards died on 20 December 2011 in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, survived by his wife Mayrian Louise Campbell, a retired staff nurse.
