Basic Biographical Details Name: | Robert Thomson Fyfe | Designation: | | Born: | 29 November 1927 | Died: | 5 May 1989 | Bio Notes: | Robert Thomson Fyfe was born on 29 November 1927, the son of John Fyfe, railway stationmaster and his wife Margaret Smith Thomson. He studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and Heriot Watt. He was elected ARIBA in 1953. The following year he probably took a post with Fife County Education Architects Department where he remained until at least the 1980s. He would appear to have withdrawn from the RIBA in the 1970s as he is no longer listed in the directory of 1979.
