Bio Notes: Charles Alison practised in Edinburgh as a builder and architect in the 1820s and 1830s. He acted as an agent in letting and selling properties in the New Town (for example a house in Glenfinlas Street adjoining Charlotte Square and one on the south side of Great Stuart Street adjoining Moray Place advertised 14 January 1828). It is possible that he had been the builder of these houses.
