He joined his father's long-standing Manchester practice. In 1911-12 Fryers & Penman formed a short-term partnerhsip with Clegg as Clegg, Fryers & Penman for the purpose of executing the vast St James office building in Manchester. After the completion of the work in 1913 the practice reverted to the title Charles Clegg & Son. |
