Bio Notes: Herbert John Bruce was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1953. At that time he was living in Glasgow. He was elected ARIBA in 1959 and by that date was living in East Kilbride. In the 1970s he had a post in the City Architect's Department, Glasgow Corporation (20 Trongate Glasgow). This later became the Department of Architecture and Related Services, Strathclyde Regional Council.
