Bio Notes: David Smith Sturrock was born on 19 December 1933. He studied for the diploma in architecture at at Edinburgh College of Art and was elected ARIAS in 1958. He was living in Limekilns, near Dunfermline about this time. He was elected ARIBA in 1960 and had moved to Leamington Spa by this date. He reurned to Scotland and had a post with Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall. He reamined with the practice until after 1979. In 1984 he is recorded as having the qualification MBIM.

He died on 15 June 2012.
