Bio Notes: Catherine Mary Glen Adams was born on 9 November 1909, the daughter of James Adams, shipping clerk, and his wife Abigail Glen. She studied at the School of Architecture in Glasgow. She was elected ARIBA in 1953. After qualifying she went to work in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. By 1979 she was working for Lochaber Council in the District Council Offices in Fort William. By 1987 she had moved to the Department of Technical Services, Clydebank District Council. By 1994 she had returned to her old address in Saltcoats.

She died on 22 May 2008 at Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock. She never married.
