| Bio Notes: | Francis (always known as Frank) Richard Epton was born in 1891. He was an architect and interior designer. He was an assistant with John Ednie. He married in 1914. The following year he was awarded a prize for sketching. He served during the First World War and was wounded at the Dardanelles in July 1915, and subsequently hospitalised in Gallipoli. He emigrated in 1922. |
