Bio Notes: Albert Charles Stevens was born on 30 September 1939, the son of Albert Charles Stevens, tyre fitter and his wife Bessie Gordon Wright who had been married in 1936. He studied at Dundee College of Art and was elected ARIBA in 1963 and ARIAS the following year. He had joined the Architects Department of Bett Brothers by 1979. A year later he joined the practice of A B Allan & Co.
