Bio Notes: Crawford MacKellar was born about 1884 and articled to William Daniel McLennan of Paisley from 1901-1906. In 1906 he emigrated to Sydney, Australia. He was in partnership with Bruce F Partridge in the 1930s and later practised on his own. He was responsible for the design of several prominent buildings in Sydney including the Woolworths building in Darlinghurst Road and the David Jones Department Store in Market Street.
