Bio Notes: Robert ('Bob') Keith Bruce was born on 12 August 1929, the son of James McGregor Bruce, plumber, and his wife Agnes McKellar Collins. He was elected ARIAS in 1964.

His career stretched from his work as group leader with Glasgow Corporation to being an Architect with Dumbarton County Council. He ultimately became Director of Architecture and Related Services at Clydebank District Council.

His obituarist notes that he was 'a good humoured gentleman, church elder and an enthusiastic cricketer, a good practitioner and someone who will be genuinely missed by all who knew him'.

He died aged 56 at his home in Alexandria on 30 March 1986. He was survived by his wife Elizabeth Desborough Thomson and at least one son.
