During the same period he worked with Watson Salmond & Gray. He transferred to the office of Thomas S Cordiner in 1951. He remained with Cordiner for eleven years and was elected ARIBA in 1960. He then moved briefly to work with Peter Womersley from 1962 to 1963. In the latter year he set up business on his own account which became Duncan Cameron & Associates.
