Bio Notes: Robert Jestyn Gwent Forestier-Walker was born about 1920. From 1949-1950 he worked as assistant in the office of Maxwell Fry & Jane Drew. In the latter year he moved to a similar post with J M Austin Smith & Partner, followed in 1952 by a spell with T P Bennett & Son. He moved to India and was in 1953 architect to the Government of Punjab, moving the gollowing year to West Pakistan to a similar post, followed in 1956 by a post in India as resident architect with Brown Moulin & Antrim, this post primarily for the execution of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

He returned to Britain in 1959 and worked in the Edinburgh office of Robert Matthew Johnson-Marshall (latterly Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall & Partners) until 1963. He specialised in hospital design. From 1963 to 1964 he worked on his own account. He was elected FRIBA in 1968, proposed by Llewelyn-Davies, S E T Cusdin and John Weekes. He joined the practice of Lord Llewlyn-Davies at some point in the 1960s.

He died in September 1994 in Herefordshire.
