Bio Notes: Alexander Forbes Davidson was born on 17 June 1944, the son of Alexander Davidson, master hairdresser, and his wife Isabella Jane Ritchie Tough. He studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen, gaining his diploma in 1969. He became a member of the ARIAS and the RIBA and was elected asociate in 1975. By 1979 he had a post with Mackie Ramsay & Taylor and remained there until at least 1984. He later worked in Aberdeen in partnership with Gary M Smith as the Davidson Smith Partnership. Davidson died at the Royal Infirmary Aberdeen aged 51 on 11 October 1995. He was survived by his wife Elizabeth Frances Ritchie.
