Bio Notes: Robert Arthur Clunas was born on 3 August 1930, the son of Robert Anderson Clunas, mechanical engineer, and his wife Jessie Shearer Heddle. He was elected student member of the RIBA in 1953 and studied at Edinburgh College of Art. In 1965 he had a post with Alan Reiach Eric Hall & Partners where he seems to have remained. He became a member of the RIBA rather belatedly in 1971.

He was married to Margaret Helen McKendrick or Smith.

Clunas died on 13 February 1992 at his home in Glenfarg, Perthshire. He was survived by his wife and stepson.
