Bio Notes: Andrew George Derbyshire was awarded the degree of BA at the University of Cambridge and studied for the diploma in architecture at the Architectural Association in London. He was elected ARIBA in 1952 and FRIBA in 1968. He was Deputy City Architect for Sheffield and worked on the RIBA Office Survey before joining the London arm of Robert Matthew Johnson-Marshall & Partners in 1961. He was taken into partnership in 1964. Would appear to have been based in Welwyn Garden City though perhaps not involved with Scottish work?

Between 1984 and 1994 he received a knighthood.
