Bio Notes: Donald Lachlan MacDonald was probably the son of Donald A MacDonald, senior partner in the practice John A W Grant. He studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art and remained there to undertake a diploma in Town Planning. He was admitted ARIBA in 1966. He also joined the practice John A W Grant.

By 1984 he may have been working on his own account but by 1994 he is no longer listed in directories.
