Bio Notes: Alexander Heward studied at the School of Architecture Edinburgh College of Art and was admitted ARIBA in 1956. In about 1960 he appears to have been working for Sir Basil Spence & Partners though presumably initially as an assistant though he was later a principal in the Glasgow office. He was elected ARIAS in 1960. He had moved to become a partner with Miller & Black by the late 1960s. He was probably in charge of the Glasgow office.
