Bio Notes: Robert Walter Thomson obtained the degree of BArch (perhaps from the University of Glasgow?)and then studied at the Glasgow School of Architecture for the Diploma in Town Planning. He was elected ARIBA and ARIAS in 1963. He would appear to have joined the practice of Magnus Duncan before 1965 and was the sole partner by 1970. He was still with the practice in 1979.

In 1994 he was practising as Robert W Thomson from what was probably his home address in Glasgow.
