Bio Notes: Alexander Renton Richardson graduated BSc from the University of Aberdeen. He was elected ARIBA in 1953. In 1954 he was in Dumfries. In 1965 he was working with J G L Poulson in Edinburgh. Between 1965 and 1970 he formed a partnership with John Mackay Lawrie and they had offices in Edinburgh, Inverness and Clydebank. Richardson would appear to have been in charge of the Edinburgh part of the practice. By 1979 he was practising on his own. He is no longer listed in 1988.
