Bio Notes: Sydney Greig Ramsay was born at Inverbervie on 2 August 1934, the son of Alexander Smith Ramsay, slater, and his wife Williamina Greig. He studied for the Diploma at Aberdeen School of Architecture. He was elected ARIBA in 1961. He joined Herbert G West in the the latter's practice, Herbert G West & Associates before 1970. In the early 1970s he was working in the practice Bakewell & Ramsay. By 1979 he had joined William Edgar Bakewell and W D Wallace in partnership. By 1994 he seems to have been working independently from his home in Aberdeen.
