Bio Notes: Robert William Fraser was born on 10 May 1922, the son of John Fraser, railway engine driver, and his wife Ellen Fayers. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1948. He studied for the diploma in architecture in Aberdeen. He was elected ARIBA in 1950. By 1979 he was working for the Department of Architecture and Related Services, Inverness District Council, Inverness. The 1984 Directiory suggests he is Director of Architectural and Technical Services by this date. He died in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on 6 September 1987, survived by his wife, Jessie MacKenzie and his son Michael.
