Bio Notes: George Bowie was was born on 28 June 1927, the son of Alexander Bowie, engineer, and his wife, Margaret Louise Robertson. He was elected ARIBA in 1953. He was the Chief Architect for Crudens Ltd in the 1960s and 1970s. He is no longer listed in the 1979 directory.

He died on 17 January 2010 at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh. His wife Jean Murray had predeceased him.
