Bio Notes: Edward Charles Dewick was born on 10 October 1889, the son of Williwe John Dewick, chief messenger, and his wife Elizabeth Willson. He may have been born and brought up in Montreal as Edward C Dewick arrived in Glasgow from Quebec on 1 July 1927. He qualified as a chartered surveyor. He would appear to have had a post with the North British Railway Company (?) by the 1950s.

He died in Inverclyde Hospital, Greenock on 24 August 1984. His wife Gertrude Bessie Dalton had predeceased him.
