Bio Notes: Robert Gilbert Carlisle studied at Glasgow School of Art. He was elected ARIBA in 1960. In 1970 he was living in Helensburgh. He wasappointed Dundee City Architect in 1974 and after regionalisation Director of Technical Services, City of Dundee in which post he remained until at least 1984. He is no longer listed in the 1994 directory.
