Bio Notes: Neil S Sutherland (he appears as simply 'Neil Sutherland' in his death certificate) was born on 12 June 1930, the son of William Neil Sutherland, minister of religion, and his wife, Eugenie Florence Natalie Bach. In 1948 Neil S Sutherland FIAA&S was appointed Burgh Architect and Town Planning Officer for Kilmarnock. He later moved to BAthgate to become Depute Director of Housing.

He died on 12 September 1981 at his home in Bathgate, survived by his wife, Kathleen Angela Parker and at least one daughter.
