Bio Notes: Alexander Shepherd was born on 23 August 1908, the son of David Clyne Shepherd, shoe factory manager, and his wife Helen Mylne. He was admitted ARIBA in 1947. His address was Southfield House in Auchtermuchty in 1950. By 1963 he was Deputy County Architect of Fife.

He died of a coronary thrombosis aged 56 on 19 August 1965 at Dochfour Estate, Inverness. He was survived by his wife, May Elizabeth Fraser Tully, his son and his father.
