Basic Biographical Details Name: | David Ralph Samson | Designation: | | Born: | 10 August 1918 | Died: | 2005 | Bio Notes: | David Ralph Samson (wrongly spelt Sampson in some sources) was born at the Maternity Hospital Glasgow on 10 August 1918, the son of John Samson, Corporation Clerk, and his wife Mary-Jean Mayor who had married in Glasgow in 1905. He was elected a student member of the RIBA in 1946 and ARIBA in 1951. He was taken into partnership in the practice of Monro & Partners in 1966. He retired in 1970. He would appear to have been in the Glasgow office in 1970. By 1977 he had moved to Norfolk. He does not appear in the Directory for 1987.
