Bio Notes: George Leslie Strath was born on 14 August 1920, the son of George Irvine Strath, and his wife Jane Leslie. He was admitted ARIBA in 1948. In 1950 his address was Ruthrie, Banff. He subsequently obtained a post in the City Architect's Department in Aberdeen and was still there in 1979.

In about 1994 Strath was based in Aberfeldy. He remained there until his death on 18 May 1999, survived by his wife, Rhoda Duncan Bell, a retired schoolteacher. He was a retired ARIAS at that time.
