Bio Notes: Andrew Adam was born on 8 January 1922, the son of George Adam, Admiralty writer who was stationed in Rosyth, and his wife Andrewina White. He graduated from the School of Archtecture in Glasgow. He also studied for a diploma in town planning in Glasgow. He was admitted ARIBA in 1949. From about 1947 to 1950 he was residing at Fairlie, Ayrshire. In the early 1960s he was working in the practice of Charles Chree Doig in Elgin. In 1970 he was working (as a partner?) in W Russell Orme & Partners. He was latterly in practice with Sinclair & Watt, Kirkcaldy. He retired in the early 1980s.
