Bio Notes: Harry Shaw was born on 26 June 1905, the son of James Shaw, engine fitter, and his wife, Margaret Muldoon. He rose to the post of Burgh Engineer, Airdrie and was based in the Municipal Buildings.

He died in the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow on 12 January 1970, survived by his wife Helen Brown Henderson Gardiner and his son, Harry.
