Bio Notes: The practice of Frank Burnet & Boston continued until 1961 under this title. In that year the name changed to Frank Burnet Bell & Partners.

Hamish Hill had joined as partner sometime before 1943 and in that hear a new branch office was opened in Greenock under Hill. James Rennie joined sometime after and from 1975 William Douglas was taken into partnership. In the mid-1990s the Glasgow branch was under the control of Robert D McPhail and Iain Macrae.

The practice bought out that of Miller & Manson of Glasgow.
