Bio Notes: Robert Andrew Wilkie was born in Partick, Glasgow on 20 March 1912, the son of David Wilkie, weighing machine mechanic, and his wife Annie Boyd Meikle. He was a student member of the RIBA from 1938. He was elected ARIBA in 1949. He then took a post with the North Eastern Regional Hospital Board which was based at 1 Albyn Place, Aberdeen. By 1953 he had emigrated to New Zealand and was working for the Auckland Hospital Board. He is no longer listed in the RIBA Directory of 1979.
