Bio Notes: Alexander ('Alec') Couper was born on 28 November 1906, the son of David Livingstone Couper and his wife Agnes Craigie Low. He joined William Mollison Wilson as partner in 1961. The name of the practice changed at that time to W M Wilson & Partners.

Couper died of cardiac failure at Maryfield Hospital, Dundee on 4 November 1969, survived by his wife, Isabella Crawford, and at least one son.
