Bio Notes: William Adair Douglas Murphie He studied at the School of Architecture in Aberdeen. He was elected ARIBA in 1958 and ARIAS in 1964. He joined Antony Curtiss Wolffe initially as a qualified assistant and in 1968 becoming a partner. The name of the firm became A Curtiss Wolffe & Partners. He was also a qualified chartered surveyor. He is not listed in the 1994 RIBA directory of members and had presumably withdrawn after retirement.
