Bio Notes: David George Miller studied for the diploma in architecture at Aberdeen and was admitted ARIBA in 1968.

Ian Thomson, Thomas (Tom) Craig and Robin Donald established a practice in Aberdeen as Thomson Craig & Donald with an office at 59 Dee Street. The practice moved to Carden Terrace a year later. By 1970 Angus Taylor was a partner, the practice name changing to Thomson, Taylor Craig & Donald. In 1979 David George Miller joined the practice, followed in 1980 by Alstair Hay and Charles Simpson and in 1984 by Donald Coutts and Frank Robertson.

By 1994 Miller was a partner with Grampian Design Associates in Aberdeen.
