Bio Notes: Hugh Roger Legge was born on 27 September 1927, the son of Andrew Milton Legge, shoemaker and his wife Maggie Marroch, a state registered nurse. He studied for the Diploma in Architecture at Aberdeen School of Architecture. He was elected ARIBA and ARIAS in 1955. He was assumed into partnership by Robert Archibald Hendry in 1965.

Legge retired before 1994.

At the time of his death on 21 March 2000 at the Royal Infirmary Aberdeen he was a retired ARIAS. He was survived by his wife Annie Brownlie Clark, clerkess and his son also Hugh Roger Legge.

Hugh Roger Legge qualified BSc Hons from the University of Aberdeen and was elected ARIAS in 1982. He joined the practice that year.
