Bio Notes: Benjamin Green was born in 1813, the son of John Green. He formed a partnership with his father and they practised in Newcastle between about 1820 and 1858 and designed te Grey Monument and the Theatre Royal as well as undertaking engineering work.

Benjamin Green was said to have an artistic temperament.

He died in a mental home at Dinsdale Park Durham on 14 November 1858.
