Basic Biographical Details

Name: John O'Neill
Designation:
Born:
Died:
Bio Notes: John O'Neill (or O'Neil - the spelling is uncertain) was practising from the City Architect's office, 4 South Albion Street, Glasgow in 1869. He was apparently related to Charles O'Neill who also worked in the City Architect's office prior to his departure for New Zealand in 1863.

He must surely be the same as John James O'Neill who was working for John Carrick in the 1860s. He is not included in the 1862 PO Directory but must surely have been working in the City Architect's office in 1863 when he drew up a plan 'for John Carrick'.
