Basic Biographical Details Name: | John Eric Moore | Designation: | | Born: | 31 October 1913 | Died: | 1985 | Bio Notes: | John Eric Moss was born on 31 October 1913 and served his articles in an unspecified office from July 1929 while attending classes at the School of Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art. He studied full-time from October 1935, receiving his diploma in June 1937. He was admitted ARIBA on 4 April 1938, his proposers being James Macgregor, Frank Charles Mears and Alexander Allan Foote. At that time he was working in the office of Thomas McCrae and was living at 60 Marchmont Road. He was also an Associate of the Edinburgh Architectural Association. By the following year he had moved to 80 Bonaly Road.
Moore's RIBA membership was terminated in 1973 due to non-payment of fees, but he was reinstated as a member in 1977. At that time he was living in London.
