Basic Biographical Details Name: | Andrew Lindsay Miller (junior) | Designation: | | Born: | c. 1886 | Died: | | Bio Notes: | Andrew Lindsay Miller Junior was born c.1886, the son of architect Andrew Lindsay Miller of Cambuslang and Glasgow and his wife Agnes Murdoch Turnbull. His father died in 1903 and the practice was continued by his elder brother James (born 1879), who had been taken into partnership earlier that year as A Lindsay Miller & Son. Andrew Lindsay Junior probably served his apprenticeship in the family firm and was certainly employed as an assistant; he was still in the office immediately prior to the First World War, but it is unclear whether he was taken into partnership. No further details of him are yet known. | Private and Business AddressesThe following private or business addresses are associated with this : | | Address | Type | Date from | Date to | Notes | | 122, Wellington Street, Glasgow, Scotland | Business | Before 1904 | After 1910 | | | Ashlea, Monkcastle Drive, Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, Scotland | Private | 1905 * | | | | Borgie, Chatelherault Drive, Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, Scotland | Private | 1906 * | | | | 19, Blythswood Square, Glasgow, Scotland | Business | 1914 * | | |
