Bio Notes: George Johnstone was clerk of works to Wardrop & Reid, continuing in the same position with the firm of Wardrop, Anderson & Reid after the merger of the former practice with that of Robert Rowand Anderson and George Washington Browne in 1883. He also worked for Kinnear & Peddie. NMRS holds a journal by Johnstone which contains anecdotes of architects and their work.
