Bio Notes: David Whyte or White was described as an 'architect and tenant at Templeton, Parish of Eassie, Forfarshire'. He built a number of farmhouses in the area of Newtyle in Angus between 1810 and 1830.

He died on 26 January 1830 though his will was registered on 22 January 1898. Templeton Farm was let in July that year.
