Bio Notes: Little is as yet known of John Hutton who was in partnership with Wilm (or William) Knox in the mid -1880s. He was born in Glasgow in about 1853, the son of John Hutton, silver smith, and his wife Caroline. The family moved to Edinburgh at some point prior to 1871. Hutton may have emigrated with William Knox as he does not appear in census records after 1881.
