| Bio Notes: | Herbert Phillips Fletcher was born on 27 February 1872, the son of London architect Banister Fletcher and younger brother of Banister Flight Fletcher (later Sir, born 1866). He was articled to his father in 1888 and was taken into partnership by him in 1893, his brother having been taken into partnership three years earlier as Banister Fletcher & Sons. The sons continued the practice after their father's death in 1899. Herbert Phillips Fletcher died on 3 August 1916. |
