Bio Notes: George Baron Carvill was born about 1867 and was active as an architect in London, England between the early 1890s and at least 1914. Nothing is known about his professional training. In the mid-1890s he was in partnership with Herbert Passmore (1868-1966) in the London-based architectural firm G. B. Carvill and H. Passmore. Their offices were located at 35 New Bond Street, London. A chapel for the hospital of the Hospital of St. Peter Port designed by them is illustrated in Academy Architecture vol.7, 1895 (p.9).

By 1914 he was in partnership with Frank Norman Reckitt (1872-?). Their offices were at 1 Charing Cross Road, London
