They were architects to Boots the Chemist (which was based in Nottingham) from at least 1928. By the mid-1950s Waumsley and Bromley were no longer in practice. However Cartwright was working in the practice Evans, Cartwright & Woollatt from the same address in Nottingham at this time. They had perhaps taken over Boots' architectural work.
