Bio Notes: H T Seward served in the Royal Engineers during the First World War, during which he made the acquaintance of Herbert William Cruickshank, who had been born in Aberdeen in 1886 and had trained in the office of Alexander Marshall Mackenaie. At the end of the war, in 1919, Seward and Cruickshank commenced independent practice together in Manchester. H T Seward continued the practice under the existing name of Cruickshank & Seward after Cruickshank's death in 1935. He was admitted FRIBA sometime before 1938.
