Bio Notes: Frank Gordon McIntosh born about 1864, the son of the architect John McIntosh of Keith, Banffshire. He emigrated to South Africa in 1889, subsequently setting up business on his own account in Pretoria. He designed a number of important buildings throughout the Transvaal and other parts of the Union and won the competition for the new town hall in Pretoria.

He died on 5 October 1926.
